PPE Duramax Dual Fueler Kit

Begining with the LB7 engine in 2001, General Motors began using the Bosch Common rail direct injection system for the Duramax diesel engine. Now PPE offers the Dual Fueler Kit. Driven by a second Bosch CP3 fuel pump, belt pully and controlled by a sophisticated microprocessor module this kit offers twice as much pumping capacity and increases fuel pressure and horsepower. If you are running high HP and or twin turbos with tuning from the PPE Hot +2 ET or EFI live to mention a few, this Dual Fueler system is a must for your truck.

Adding a belt driven CP3 Pump Kit to your stock fuel system reduces drive load on the internal gear driven CP3 pump and increasing pump reliabilty. Both pumps work together each delivering half the fuel load thuis dividing the work load. In the event of a failure the PPE electronic controller will switch the full load to the remaining working pump. The Dual Fueler Kit will not deliver more fuel pressure that the ECM requests it mearly increases fuel volume. If the tuning is modified or a Duramaximizer is also used, the fuel pressure can be increased over the factory settings resulting in added horsepower and torque increases. The Dual Fueler Kit provides seamless and consistant fuel flow for large injectors and high level tune programs that demand a high valume of fuel. The size of the PPE pully was determined so the second belt driven pump runs at the same speed as the gear driven pump eliminating high rpm cavatation and uniform flow output from both pumps.
