The only way to add HP and make it stick is to beef up the Transmission. The weakest link the chain is the torque converter. The next weakest link is the clutch packs in the transmission. If you want to beef up the transmission to tow heavy loads with an extra 100 HP from a Tuner a HD single disc RV Torque Conveter will do you just fine with the addition of replacment clutch pack kit from aftermarket makers such as Alto.

If you want to add 300-500 HP or more we have kits and converters to handle your wants and needs from Allison Transparts LLC. Choose from Performance 3 kits that will handle up to 450 RWHP with a Torque Converter added. If you are going to go all out we have the Performance 4 Kit that will handle up to 750 RWHP with a Torque Converter added.
